Our family winery has history

The origin of our farm dates back to 1602. Monks of the Erlahof used a cellar and a small house here as storage for fishing. There were over 15 fish ponds on the property.
From 1950, Grandpa Gerhard helped at the farm of his childless uncle and took it over in 1966. Step by step, he and his wife Elfriede slowly expanded the winery.
In 1996, after graduating from the Krems School of Viticulture, Martin and his wife Alexandra took over their parents’ winery.
Since then, every year until today has been modernized and also purchased and leased vineyards.
In 2016 our dream of our own hotel was realized: The WEINSPITZ

Martin

After the viticulture school in Krems and various internships at wineries, Martin took over the winery with Alexandra in 1996 with six private rooms.
Anyone looking for Martin is most likely to find him in the vineyard, in the cellar and on the terrace hosting.
