The 1000-Eimerberg vineyard, situated in the heart of Spitz, marks the gateway to the Spitzer Graben and is the village’s most renowned vineyard site.
From its steep terraces, we harvest our finest Riesling grapes. The soils are predominantly composed of gneiss, marble and shell limestone, producing exceptional quality, particularly in cooler and more classic vintages. Wines from this vineyard tend to be riper, with softer acidity and a more approachable character than those from other vineyard sites in Spitz.
100% handwork
Tasting Notes: Attractive aromas of white peach, delicate apricot and hints of mango and passion fruit. Mineral-driven and inviting.
Fine, fruit-driven acidity, a silky texture and a gentle, well-balanced acidity. A touch of honey on the finish adds charm and elegance. Already approachable, yet offering exceptional ageing potential.
