South-facing, steep stone terraces characterize the Setzberg vineyard site. Composed of slate and gneiss soils, Setzberg produces grapes for wines of great finesse.
Delicate yet expressive aroma of rose petals, subtly spicy, with an open-hearted fruit freshness; notes of elderflower and a hint of gooseberry. Fine acidity grip, crisp and vibrant, an elegant aperitif wine.

The western part of the Setzberg is characterized, on the one hand, by cool winds from the Spitz Graben and, on the other, by sandy, stony primary rock soils composed of paragneiss and marble. This is where the grapes for our refined Rieslings grow.
